5. Tiger Balm

Tiger Balm smells good and has a cooling effect. It contains Menthol which makes the skin feel cool then warm. This cooling and warming sensation distracts the brain’s pain receptors. Not only that, when you apply Tiger Balm, you are increasing circulation by rubbing the area that has pain. “This non-staining ointment contains the strongest concentration of Tiger Balm’s herbal ingredients to provide penetrating heat to muscles. One application gives you fast, warm, comforting relief for joint and muscle pain, stiff muscles, arthritis in the hands and joints, backaches caused by overexertion.” Tiger Balm

4. Arnica Montana

Arnica Montana is the key ingredient in the line of Arnicare products. Arnica Montana is a European flower that grows in the mountains. It’s in the sunflower family. “Arnicare topicals offer everyday pain relief where you need it most to relieve muscle aches and stiffness, swelling and discoloration from bruises. Each topical contains only one active ingredient—Arnica Montana, a homeopathic medicine that has been used for centuries as a natural pain reliever. Arnicare relieves your aches and pain while assisting the body’s natural healing process.” Arnicare

3. doTerra Deep Blue Rub

I love the blend of essential oils in Deep Blue Rub. It’s similar to Tiger Balm with the brain distracting sensation from the Menthol. Deep Blue is also a non greasy lotion that makes the skin feel cold and then warm. Applying Deep Blue also increases circulation to the painful area. “doTERRA Deep Blue Rub is a topical cream formulated with Deep Blue Soothing Blend of CPTG Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade® essential oils, natural plant extracts, and additional helpful ingredients that provides a comforting sensation of cooling and warmth to problem areas.” doTERRA

2. Mud Packs & iPacks

If you’ve had an injury, you need to get on my schedule for a mud packs. Not only am I certified in mud packing and iPacks but I’ve taught others how to do them correctly. There is a lot of old information on mud packs so make sure you see the best! You can schedule with me online or call me at 734-985-5891. Injuries create a break or blockage of the body’s energy flow. This can sedate the nerves and cause an injury to heal very slowly, if at all. One thing we’ve learned through Quantum Reflex Analysis is that an old injury can actually be causing health issues in a completely different part of the body. It may appear that the injury and the health issue is unrelated but you would be shocked at the overall improvements in health.
Bentonite clay is a super detoxifying ingredient in the mud packs. This isn’t just random “mud”, it’s a special formula created by Premier Research Labs loaded with minerals. The scientific combination of minerals and bentonite clay will help repair the energy flow to an old injury site.
″Cleansing body packs with bentonite clay, organic sea vegetation and targeted botanical agents; key cleansing agents used for centuries in many cultures. Promotes bioenergetic flow of stagnant meridians; may initiate the “thermal effect”; a deep, intrinsic cleansing effect.” Premier Research Labs.

1. Limonene and Oregano Oil by Premier Research Labs

Oregano oil is an essential oil made from the herb, Oregano. Be very careful applying oregano oil. It is super concentrated and can burn the skin if it’s not diluted in an carrier oil like coconut oil, olive oil, etc.  “This powerful essential oil is derived from the famous herb, oregano. It contains 25% carvacrol (0.02 mL/serving), a key, naturally occurring phyto-compound. The essential oil of oregano has been traditionally used for optimal health support.” Premier Research Labs.
Limonene oil is an essential oil from oranges. Like oregano oil, it needs to be diluted with a carrier oil. Not only is the scent of Limonene uplifting, it helps with pain relief. It “contains a premier, highly bioavailable organic orange oil that features a natural source of d-Limonene, a naturally occurring compound with superior detoxification effects.” Premier Research Labs.

Jason and Katy had an unexpected start to a homestead in 2014. Katy’s father didn’t want to mow the lawn anymore. Before you knew it, there were five sheep in the backyard. Jason wanted a garden, so we cleared some land. Katy wanted some chickens, so we built a coop. Follow us on our multigenerational homesteading adventures and watch how we incorporate Jason’s Quantum Reflex Analysis (holistic health) background at S. Healing Homestead.
